The Horse

    The Trojan scouts who approached the Greek camp were dumb-founded. The smoldering huts were deserted. The fleet was gone. All that remained was the horse towering before them. The war was over! Pg. 70


    I chose this passage because I found it interesting how the king wasn’t the least bit suspicious of the horse. Although he did think it was a gift from Athena. I also liked this passage because the wooden horse with attackers waiting inside is so famous. Monty Python and the holy grail comes to mind. AlexB
