    "The most beautiful woman in all the world, whose looks
    approach even my own."
    Paris gazed upon the goddess' body, imagining she were
    Helen and his. Then he remembered. "But Helen is married"

    After this conversation, I was stunned when I found out Paris
    gave the Golden Apple to Aphrodite when Paris knew Helen
    was married. Didn't he expect that that was going to be a
    a battle? A fight? Apparently he didn't care about anyone other
    than himself.

    I agree Robert he should have picked someone who wasent taken and the kings has sworn an oath never to take Helen. Paris was not very clever. Justin B
