Please choose ONE of the options to post about.

    1) Explore Arnold's psychological journey in to becoming a traitor. What do you think was most significant to making the choices he did? Consider the internal and external factors.

    2) How big of a role do you see Washington's actions and/or inactions playing? Do you think there is anything Washington could have done to keep Arnold "in the fold"?

    3) What makes a person put themselves or their causes before their country? (Use Arnold's journey as a case study and research some other, more modern, famous people called traitors: John Walker Lindh "The American Taliban", Julian Assange - founder of Wikileaks, Adam Yahiye Gadahn - "Azzam the American" working with Al Quaeda, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg - Cold War era). Do you see any common threads? Post your analysis/reflection.

    4) Explore a "what if?" of history. Choose one event from the book and create a scenario that could have happened if that one event had not unfolded in that way. If you see someone has already chosen that event, make sure your outcome is original or choose a different event.
