End of Battle
  • willf169 August 2011
I thought the best but saddest passage was on page 74, it read: That night, the wind began to shriek. Asthena, furious at the violence commited in her temple during Troy's sack, let loose her rage in a tremendous storm. Scores of ships sank or were splintered on rocks. Floating bodies choked inlets and washed up in hundreds on beaches.

I think this is a good quote because it is important to show how big and important this battle was because both sides risked so much for the victory

Yeah I agree the battle was very big for both sides but was really only about Helen and so many people died because of her
  • RobertAsmar August 2011
    I agree corey

I think the whole battle was pointless. It was all about someone stealing someone else’s wife. I think Helen should have gave herself up at the start of the battle. She could have saved the city of troy. Alex Behney

I know that Helen was casted under a spell but if she truly loved him she would'v givin herself up.
  • alexbehney August 2011
I disagree with you Justin. Yes she was under a spell, but she still could have thought of the fact that she was causing a war. Alex Behney

But the spell made her love him and would stay with him forever. Justin B

    You're right Justin.
